Grapevine Boat Party DJ9/20/2019 I'm On A Boat!!! I got to DJ a fantastic company party, aboard a party barge, on Lake Grapevine!!! This was a fantastic experience and I can't wait to play another gig with the folks at Aviator Home Health! Checkout the recap video, showing the setup and load-in, along with the party! There was dancing, food, drinks, prizes, and a ton of fun... and then, there were FIREWORKS! Yes, as if the event couldn't be any more awesome, as we were headed back to the dock we got to cruise past the Friday night Fireworks on Lake Grapevine... what a display, and what a night!  The boat was the Tejas from Sam's Dock on Lake Grapevine... I would HIGHLY recommend them for anyone wanting to have an amazing experience on the water. I got to setup on the top deck and had a great ride, although the wind had me nervous a couple times, and the waves made mixing a bit interesting at times... It really was a spectacular event AND I got to play my brand new QSC CP12 Speakers at this gig. I am definitely ready to get out on the water again for another gig!

I got to DJ for one of my favorite group of folks...the members of Dallas Elk's Lodge. They had a Superhero costume party and it was a good time for everyone!
It was a small group but they made up for it with tons of dancing and laughing and having a great time! Another thing that made the party fun for me was getting to use my brand new light setup, featuring some great new lights I added to my setup!
One of my favorite things about this group is their LOVE of throwback hip-hop dance tunes... So I always get to play some of my favorite late 80's / early 90's stuff. I even recorded a new mix that night filled with fun stuff... it's uploaded to my MixCloud and you can check it out here:
I always love an event where everyone enjoys dancing! Can't wait to get back over there for another party with the Dallas Elk's Lodge.
